Graduation
My big brother, Zachary Jacob, graduated today. The auditorium was packed. They should have gone to the college to have it, but oh well. I had to stand in the back, and so did my dad. Poor Daddy. Mom and the 2 grandmas, the aunt, and my cousin, got to sit down and actually got to see him walk. *sigh*
I’m so proud of him, though. I’ve always looked up to him, and I’m really sad that he’s leaving. I’m also excited for him, though. He’s going out into the real world now. He’s moving away, and going to college. He’s only going moving to the city, though, so it’ll be ok. He’ll only be an hour away. Yay! But, he probably won’t be home much. I’ll really miss him.
It’ll be weird with just me and Mom in the house. I don’t know what we’ll do without Bubba. It’ll be so different without him. Who am I gonna snatch quarters from in the morning when I don’t have lunch money?? Good thing I got that job last week, I guess.
Anyway, my big brother is officially out of high school, and I am now a junior, and the boyfriend is a senior. It’s so weird. High school is going by way too fast. Before I know it, my brother won’t just be living somewhere else and going to school, he’ll be getting married, and I’ll be graduating.
I really am so proud of him, though. He’s really going to be something great one day.
